A contact lens is a medical device placed on the surface of your eye (cornea). The physicians of Bohn & Joseph Eye Center feel that your understanding of the fitting process is the most important part of your successful contact lens wear. Louisiana State Law RS 40:1299.97 states that all contact lens prescriptions expire after 18 months.
